Arginine supplements should be accompanied by a broad spectrum of antioxidant protection (including Coenzyme Q10 and lipoic acid) to protect against free radical oxidation.
Don't give multigram doses to children under 18 for any extended period of time. Use caution if you have arthritis or infection, as Arginine can cause increased inflammation.
For immune strengthening, take additional lysine with arginine as this may neutralize any virus sustaining effects caused by the viruses feeding on the arginine.
