It strengthens the heart and lungs, as well as increases circulation to the brain, improving mental function. Research also suggests it has the ability to strengthen the stomach, spleen, intestine, liver and nervous system.

Blessed Thistle helps balance and support estrogen and other hormones in the body. It is sometimes taken in combination with Red Raspberry to not only stimulate milk production in nursing mothers, but also to enrich the milk for newborns.

Extract of Blessed Thistle contains antibacterial and anti-yeast properties which can help treat Candida albicans.
