Eyebright has been the herb of choice for treating eye irritations for centuries. It is beneficial for conditions involving the mucus membranes. As an eyewash, it can help relieve eye irritation or eye strain. Its antiseptic properties help fight eye infections.

Traditional uses of this herb include problems such as failing vision, eye inflammation, eye ulcers, conjunctivitis, and eye strain. Eyebright strengthens all parts of the eye and provides elasticity to the nerves and optic devices responsible for sight.
