Introducing Sans Age Botanique Ageless Botanical Facial Firming Gel! How it Works The main active ingredient in Sans Age Botanique Ageless Botanical Facial Firming Gel is Argireline®, or Acetyl Hexapeptide-3 (AH-3). AH-3 is an engineered, non-toxic amino-peptide. Amino-peptides regenerate healthy new skin cells, revealing healthy new skin! ARGIRELINE® has been proven to interfere with the nerve signals that tell muscles to contract; however, unlike Botox®, ARGIRELINE® does not paralyze these muscles. Instead, Argireline simply relaxes the facial muscles, creating a smoother, firmer surface. Sans Age Botanique Ageless Botanical Facial Firming Gel also contains five valuable herbal extracts, chosen for their ideal skin care properties. Elder Flower Extract acts as an astringent, naturally tightening tissue. Witch Hazel Extract’s antioxidant properties protect the skin from harmful free radicals that are believed to be the basis for the aging process. Willow Extract not only contains valuable vitamins and minerals, but also works as an anti-inflammatory. Chamomile Extract is an anti-inflammatory and an anti-oxidant. And last but not least, Wild Ginseng Extract, a well know adaptogen, helps the skin adjust to changes and cope with the stresses of aging. This powerful combination of AH-3 with natural astringents, stimulants, anti-inflammatories, antioxidants, and adaptogens works together to keep your skin looking and feeling smoother and younger. Why Botanical? Botanical literally means, “derived from plants.” Plant extracts, herbs, flowers, and fruit have been used by humans for centuries for their therapeutic properties. However, recently, their popularity has increased as our knowledge and understanding of their benefits increases. Natural botanicals are now taking the place of synthetic and chemical ingredients in skin care, allowing for a gentler, more natural approach to beauty. Botanicals, unlike their synthetic counterparts, naturally clean, moisturize, detoxify, hydrate, protect, strengthen, soothe, relax, heal and balance the skin! Feeding your Skin from the Inside: If you feed your skin from the inside out with a healthy, well balanced diet, as well as from the outside in with high quality skin care products, you will undoubtedly improve your skin’s appearance. Mary Sullivan, RN, a nutritional supplement expert and co-founder of Olympian Labs states, "When combined with a good diet, the right dietary supplements can help keep your skin looking not only healthy, but also years younger." The right balance of vitamins, minerals and nutrients will keep your skin looking young and radiant. Nourishing your body from the inside out begins with eating healthy, exercising, and making sure your body is receiving the correct amounts of nutrients, vitamins and minerals. These nutrients can either be taken internally or applied topically. Sans Age Botanique provides your skin with important nutrients from plant extracts, helping to improve the look and feel of your face. If you are serious about letting your external beauty shine, you need to start by taking care of you body's internal needs. In combination with a well-balanced, nutritious diet, Sans Age Botanique, applied daily, provides lasting affects – leaving your skin feeling fresh and looking radiant! Tips for Facing the Summer -Keeping your skin healthy and wrinkle-free with SPF and vegetables! You may be asking yourself, “What do SPF and vegetables have to do with preventing wrinkles and keeping my skin youthful?” Facial wrinkles begin to form when your skin thins and loses its elasticity. When your skin is supple (i.e. young) it has no problems “bouncing back” to its original form as soon as you stop making a particular facial expression. However, as we grow older, and our skin begins to lose the gravity battle, and our facial expressions leave lasting impressions. Although it is general knowledge that wrinkles come with age, what many people don’t know is that many other factors contribute to facial wrinkling. Muscle tone, habitual facial expressions, stress, exposure to environmental pollutants, and smoking can all affect the look and feel of your skin. However, the most detrimental factors affecting your skin are excessive sun exposure and poor diet. Overexposure to the sun erodes the elastic tissues in the skin, dries the skin out, and leads to the generation of free radicals. And, the effects of sun exposure are cumulative, meaning the damaging results may not be noticeable for many years. An estimated 90% of what we deem sings of aging, are actually signs of overexposure to sunlight. Insuring that your skin is protected from harmful ultraviolet-A (UVA) rays on a daily basis (not just when sunbathing) will undoubtedly benefit you now, and in the future. Always take extra precautions to protect yourself from the harmful rays of the sun. Bear in mind, that sun exposure occurs during even the most mundane of activities such as walking into work or driving in your car. There are many daily lotions available today that contain SPF. Wellfx.com recommends Anne Marie Borlind’s Sun Milk, which features SPF 20 and Sea Buckthorn berry complex, with a high beta-carotene and Vitamin E content, to prevent premature aging and free radical damage. Poor diet and improper nutrition also affect your skin. “Your skin is the fingerprint of what is going on inside your body, and all skin conditions, from psoriasis to acne to aging, are the manifestations of your body's internal needs, including its nutritional needs," says Georgiana Donadio, PhD, DC, MSc, founder and director of the National Institute of Whole Health in Boston. Therefore, what you put into your body, just as what you put on it, directly affects your skin. Eating a nutritious, well-balanced diet helps you to maintain your ideal weight, provides you with energy to spare, can help to prevent disease, and can also keep your skin healthy and looking years younger. A well-balanced diet includes a great variety of fruits and vegetables, whole grains, seeds, nuts, and legumes that provide you and your skin with the necessary nutrients for optimal health. Drinking at least 2 quarts of water every day helps to keep your skin hydrated and flushes away toxins that can cause wrinkles. And you don’t need anyone to tell you that smoking is bad for your health. But did you ever consider that pursing your lips so consistently and repeatedly might eventually form creases that often develop into wrinkles at a comparatively earlier age? Skin is your largest organ, and like all organs, it requires regular exercise to increase the circulation that transports the needed nutrients to the correct parts of the body. And regular exercise has been proven to lower the chances of heart disease, obesity, colon cancer, diabetes, and high blood pressure. Regular exercise relieves stress, provides motivation, promotes relaxation, and facilitates sleep. Choose activities that fit into your daily routine, such as walking to work, gardening, taking extra stairs, or mowing the lawn with a push mower. The earlier you begin to protect your skin from the harmful UVA rays of the sun, the better chances you have of preventing wrinkles and sun damage in the future. But even if your skin is already damaged, taking care of it with proper sun protection and a healthy diet have never been more crucial. Although we can’t turn back the hands of time, we can give our skin a healthier, more youthful glow! Sources: Prescription for Nutritional Healing.
